San Bernardino alle Ossa is a beautiful ossuary in the heart of Milano. Skulls from the graveyard of a medieval hospital are arranged in cross shapes and fill an entire, very silent and dark, room.
On a day off from work I decided to spend some time there. I sat there for about a hour in silence while tourists came and went and took their pictures.
It's the sound of me staring at ancient skulls embedded in walls.
Very fitting in these pandemic times. Enjoy.
